Hello Parents of Nurturing Rainbow Preschool!

My hearty welcome to all of you to Rainbow Preschool on behalf of our Rainbow Preschool Team! I am Jennifer Low, the principal of Nurturing Rainbow Preschool. We are honoured to be given the opportunity to start Rainbow Preschool, anchoring on our belief that our children are unique learners and that we as facilitators, value free exploration by providing children with a manifold of holistic learning experiences in a safe and open-ended learning environment.

Nurturing Rainbow Preschool is not just a school but it is a place where children find genuine care, kindness, love and warmth from their teachers who will nurture them into individuals who will deeply represent our R.A.I.N.B.O.W. core values.

I am certain that with the holistic programmes as well as our inquiry based project approach to learning, the children of Nurturing Rainbow Preschool can hone their personal values, their sense of individuality and be curious thinkers of tomorrow.

I am confident that together with my trained team of teachers, our community partners and most importantly, you, the parents, Nurturing Rainbow Preschool will continue to grow and scale new heights.

Teaching Approach

At Nurturing Rainbow Preschool, we provide a nurturing and safe space for children to learn and explore as they develop their Sensory, Motor, Intellectual, Linguistic, Emotional, and Social skills through highly experiential classroom activities. Children will be actively involved in the learning process through differentiated learning materials provided according to their interests and abilities. They will be given unlimited time to discover and explore, as well as the freedom to move about the classroom. This approach is distinguished by the provision of a variety of learning experiences that taps on the different learning areas and actively involves the child and a teacher.

Through our unique Enquiry Teaching and Learning™ approach, we help to foster children’s curiosity about the topics of discussion by encouraging them to ask questions that will lead to an enquiry exploration. Lessons are conducted in small groups, allowing teachers to address questions that result from the learning process. Our teachers facilitate lessons whilst allowing the children to explore the various sides and possibilities to a question. Children will also have the opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced and how they worked together to resolve them. Teachers also observe the interests of the children and plan their lessons and activities accordingly, incorporating elements to provide a holistic learning experience.
